My sister's been just denied help having guarantee letter provided by Thai insurance company, followed by direct call from the insurance manager. My sister's been waiting at the reception desk for about an hour, having vomited 4 times in a row and getting worse by the minute. The manager at the reception was simply pressing her to pay on site. Outrageous
Emailed 6 days ago and still no contact from the hospital. How do they get customers when the service is so bad? I will pay the premium and go to Bangkok Hospital. The service there is incredible but more expensive.
I had to go to the hospital urgently today because of a dog bite on the street. It wasn't a serious bite, but I was worried about rabies. I have to go to a big and good hospital because it happened quite late in the afternoon and today is even a holiday in Thailand. And I am very lucky to find Jomtien hospital, I only need to wait about 10 minutes for the doctor and all hospital staff including doctor, nurses and cashier speak very good English. And all medical treatments including cleaning wounds, 2 vaccinations against Rabies and Tetanus, some medicines cost very reasonable, total 2,400 baht. I’m sure that the Jomtien Hospital is the best and most reliable hospital in Jomtien.
