Recently had a skin cancer removed under day surgery. Recent prior experiences for other treatments (mostly small stuff) - I have found Bumrungrad too business orientated. It can feel at times that payment and hospital processes trump the focus on treatment. Perhaps it is a reflection of how big and busy Bumrungrad is, that processes can dominate, not the personal touch. But I was overseen by Dr. Sukit Mekraksavanich for this recent treatment (prior and afterwards as well) and it was a 10 out of 10 experience. The professionalism, attention to detail and genuine compassion was evident throughout. I really appreciate Dr. Sukit's warmth and care, as well as from the team in the plastic surgery / day-surgery department. It was clear that my comfort was the #1 priority and I never felt like just another patient. I seldom post online, but I felt compelled to share my experience and I hope this helps anyone else needing plastic surgery help. I would ask for Dr. Sukit and not consider anyone else.
