I recently had an unexpected emergency dental visit while in Thailand, and I am thrilled to share my experience. I broke a tooth and needed immediate attention. From the moment I walked in, the dentist and staff were incredibly friendly and professional. They promptly examined my tooth and provided me with several treatment options. Initially, I chose the most expensive option to resolve the issue once and for all. However, after taking X-rays, the dentist noticed an underlying issue that required a course of antibiotics and a week's time to heal. Instead of proceeding with the costly treatment, the dentist advised me to take a more affordable and suitable alternative. I was genuinely impressed by their integrity and thoroughness. Most dentists might have proceeded with the expensive treatment to pocket the money, but here, they prioritised my health and well-being. The entire team made me feel comfortable and taken care of during a stressful situation. This level of honesty and care is rare, and I couldn't be more grateful. A perfect 10/10 experience—I never thought I'd say that about a dentist visit, especially one abroad! Highly recommended for anyone in need of dental care while traveling.
6 days into my holiday and I cracked my back tooth. I was so worried about having to see a dentist abroad as I was unsure if they’d be skilled enough or how much the price would be. I walked into the New Smile Dentist and immediately felt welcomed. Luckily for me I was able to be seen straight away and the dentist was great. He spoke English, which was relieving as I unfortunately do not speak Thai, so there was no language barrier. He informed me immediately after inspection that I’d need a filling and informed me of the price- 2,500 baht. The process was pain free (I didn’t need anaesthetic) and the service was very good. The dentist really took his time to make sure it was perfect and paused throughout to check I was ok. I am very happy with the end result. I would recommend this dentist to anyone and would like to reassure people that they can trust this clinic if they to find themselves in a similar situation to me.
My first visit to New Smile was ten years ago upon a friends recommendation. I had root canal and a few other fillings, then was back again on my visit to Thailand last week where I had two crowns. Work was faultless on both occasions with kind and caring staff from the reception to the dentist and her assistants. I even had the same dentist 10 years apart. Couldn’t recommend high enough.
I went here after sending a picture of my teeth. Appointment was made for 2 days after we arrived from New Zealand. Consultation was very thorough and went through all options within my budget. Decided to go with bridges and crowns and I just love them, was a third of the price from NZD and the staff made everything so easy. No language barrier as good English was spoken. I would 100% recommend anyone to visit New smile dentist in Patong and I will be back for more work next year.
