Horizon Rehab Center

It would take a while to describe the entire duration of my stay at The Horizon. And the monumental change the staff have provided for me with as a long term C-PTSD survivor. The was a lot of hesitation before I decided that I needed treatment. When I made contact with the admissions team, the level of care and compassion was immediately felt. This was further evident once the support staff engaged with me post-admission. I felt extremely important to them, and cannot begin to express how much their knowledge, experience and focussed care had on me. Im very fortunate, and humbled by this.

I recently saw a former colleague who was seriously struggling with addiction...He literally looked like a new person. He proceeded to tell me about his experience here. I googled this place, which looks like a recovery oasis in the middle of Bangkok. Because they clearly helped my colleague I am giving them a 5 star review. Hopefully they can help many others who also struggle with addiction.

CELEBRATING 6 MONTHS CLEAN & SOBER THIS WEEK (8 in total, including rehab)!!! And it is the perfect opportunity to leave a detailed review: At the end of 2022 I went to a rehab in northern Thailand which was really nice & fun, but the bottom line: I found myself heavily drinking again after less than a month of trying to stay sober. 8 months ago, after a week of crazy bingeing (serious alcohol abuse - actually was hospitalised), I decided to give it a go for Horizon Rehab (Bangkok). The most important thing I should say about their program is: IT WORKED, and looking backwards, I understand why: Horizon rehab is a top facility, very professional therapists and a good recovery program, but most essential for me - they focused on healing my addiction, not on trying to provide me with a holiday-like experience. There are many resort-style rehabs in Thailand, and they can be fun, but I needed a place like Horizon that will also help me cultivate recovery self-discipline. Don't get me wrong, there are also many self-soothing & relaxing activities in this place (nice swimming pool, sauna, massage) and nice day-out trips every weekend, but being in Horizon made me feel that working on my recovery is the first priority (at the previous rehab I felt more like a tourist). I am now 8 months sober, but it's more than just not drinking. I am active again, socialising more , weekly walks to visit new temples (I live in Thailand) and enjoying the small things in life. Highly recommending Horizon rehab.

A lot of respect for this place. I came to visit yesterday with a friend looking to inpatient treatment to help a family member with mental health illness. The place looked ideal for people who need to get better. We had a tour around, met with the rehabilitation manager Mr. Craig, and we both were very impressed. Unfortunately they could not treat my friend's family member’s specific mental health condition and they explained why. This was the proof I needed to know that they are truly focusing on helping their patients, and they won't take someone's money if they cannot truly help. Thankfully Mr. Craig referred us to another rehabilitation in Singapore that might help. Crossing fingers.
