Clarity has been vital in facilitating and helping me lead a higher quality of life
I participated in the trauma program in December 2019 and was extremely pleased with the care I received at Clarity. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I received the treatment I was looking for - something that is often difficult at rehab centers. The program is very small and personalized and incorporates many holistic elements including yoga, massage, meditation, sound bath, reiki and TRE. I was there over the holidays and they had some special dinners, presents and lanterns to help cheer us up which was much appreciated. My therapist, May, was absolutely wonderful! She was incredible to work with and I was able to make more progress with her in a few weeks than I had made for months in other places. May was also the first person to successfully use EMDR and hypnotherapy with me - it increased my recovery substantially and decreased my physical pain by over 90%. All of the staff - from the coaches (Suwin, Sam, Pam) to the therapists to the hotel and restaurant staff - went above and beyond to make sure you were as happy as you can be in treatment and did everything they could to make sure you were successful. The campus is also beautiful, it used to be a resort and the rooms are very high class with a huge pool (that was chilly in December!). I slept so well in that canopy bed, especially after enjoying the hot spring at night. I also dearly miss private yoga and meditation sessions with Apple - best stretch of my life - as well as TRE with Rupert and sound healing with Paula. Only a couple of negatives - it is a bit of a drive to and from Chiang Mai for meetings and sightseeing (bring a book) and the food could use a bit of an improvement. I was on a special diet and they did accommodate me which is often hard overseas. Clarity definitely sets you up for success but as always, it takes hard work. If you’re ready to do the work, Clarity is a pretty fantastic place to get it done.
Clarity for me has ticked all the box's, from the facility to the experienced friendly staff and the very professional therapists. They have helped me with so much in my recovery, looking at all aspects of addiction and offering holistic therapies alongside clinical therapy. This approach gave me the balance I needed. Going forward, they encouraged self examination into relapse behavior which has given me confidence to continue with my journey. I highly recommend this treatment Centre and their sober living facility.
