Patient 2021-2023. I first visited seeing that this is a location of a nation-wide chain, thinking that would guarantee quality of service. I was wrong. This dentist’s office is responsible for destroying my bite and triggering extreme jaw dysfunction, only resolved by getting rid of all oral appliances obtained here (I tried three, progressively terribly made) in the first place and switching to another dentist. What a waste of time and money, not to mention enamel. I do not recommend you patronize this office for anything more than prophylactic cleanings. Especially avoid the dentist known as “Dr. Alex”, real name unknown. He continued to deny issues with the oral appliances: he failed to modify them to allow adequate tongue posture, forced a reductive posterior TMJ position, and all the while, in retrospect, seemingly had no idea what he was doing. My repeated complaints of pain and developing jaw dysfunction with the new nightguard, then splint, were dismissed. At one point, I brought up how my jaw was dysfunctional now and shifted to contact prematurely only on my left first molar. He simply said (with a smile) “maybe you need to get braces again!” After thinking back on my discussions with this man, I can only conclude he is shockingly ignorant and dispassionate as a medical “professional”. I wish I had trusted my instincts and pain response instead of his “expertise”. My original experiences, from 2021 on, are detailed below. Good luck in finding a good orthodontist here, I need to find one now as well, and CIDC+”Dr.” “Alex”taught me what to avoid. ____ 2021 4⭐️ This clinic is a bit of an administrative FUBAR situation. (Most of) The dentists themselves perform good work, but it operates by a system where the doctors contract with the clinic, and are not there full time. The clinic works as an in-between service, and due to that, appointments are often changed at the last minute, and waiting times can increase drastically. If you need dependable, multi-stage work, done on time, I don't know if I would recommend this clinic. If your needs are more one-off, such as prophylaxis, it may be a better match. Good experiences so far for cleanings. I have been frustrated many times by their impossible-to-unsubscribe-from Line advertising and difficulty keeping appointments. This will likely be an issue across other clinics here as well, but this is the only clinic I've been to. I might change next year due to these difficulties. Update 09/2023- Received oral appliances here that required a significant amount of trips to modify them to satisfaction. My bite/occlusion was thrown out of whack multiple times, and this ended up triggering bruxism and jaw dysfunction. I wish I had stuck with what my previous orthodontist suggested, instead of listening to the suggestions here. For anything involving oral appliances or the jaw, I recommend going to a specialist. I'll stress again that these problems are likely not unique to CIDC, and as with anywhere, do your research and remember to ask lots of questions to ensure you and your dentist agree on what your treatment plan is before you begin it. Update 01/2024- I did change, and I can't believe I didn't earlier. I recommend visiting clinics that have a dentist's name and reputation on the line, and can be individually reviewed. With offices like BIDC/CIDC, which are essentially an agency that can be hidden behind, it is difficult to know the quality of whatever individual dentist you are assigned. Avoid the "Dr. Alex" here at all costs. The Line advertising stopped, at least. Thanks, CIDC team.

Had a little toothache in Chiang Mai which ended up being analysed by the doctor as 4 root canals and 5 new crowns plus some other misdemeanours from a misspent youth. I’ve been having work done for 40 years in Thailand and I’ve never had better service or work done by three separate dentists. Dr Lee , Kang and Pum were all specifically tasked to do a duty. They were kind and delicate as well as very caring to an old softie who hates dentistry at the best of times. I never write critiques but on this occasion the service warranted comment. CIDC was an 11/10 because of people like may and soft from reception who were two beautiful and efficient staff who made everything happen. Constant texts to not just confirm appointments but also to see how I was feeling. Two unsung superstars. Thank you all again. You have made me once again realise that health is wealth.

What a pleasant dental experience! One of my crowns came off, and the friendly and accommodating staff quickly gave me an appointment to re-cement it. The facilities are modern, the dentist spoke perfect English and presented me with options.

Told them I wanted a one day crown (which they advertised) and that I would be in Chiangmai for a week. They scheduled me for a consultation where they found I needed 3 fillings that were nicely done for about $40 each. THEN they told me they didn't have anyone who could do a crown until the following week, Sure felt like a bait and switch.... FYI I walked into the Nana office of Smile Bangkok and 2 days later had my crown.

Dentists and Staff are very professional and kind. Highly recommended.
